She always looks down like her eyes are little secrets
That cannot be told though she can't remember why
She only speaks loud when there's no one 'round to listen
And she will not laugh without cov'ring her smile

She carries half a stone with her always in her pocket
It's rough on the edges but vibrant inside
She says to herself, I am just like this stone is
So why won't somebody take me by their side?

She always has dreams of people with no faces
Who speak brilliant thoughts to themselves late at night
She read once in a book that all of these people
Are just pieces of her that she tries to hide
